Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Swept app and website (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Swept is a spam and scam call blocking application for iPhone. The Service identifies and blocks known spam numbers and identifies institutional callers using Apple's CallKit technology. Call matching happens on your device.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Swept. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

Swept offers a free 30-day trial. After the trial, continued use requires an annual subscription at €9.99/year (price may vary by region). Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. You can cancel anytime through your App Store settings. Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy.

4. Spam Reports

When you report a phone number as spam, the report is anonymized and added to our database. You agree to report numbers in good faith. Deliberately false reports may result in account suspension.

5. No Guarantee

Swept aims to block as many spam calls as possible, but we cannot guarantee that all spam calls will be blocked or that all identified callers are accurate. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Swept shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, missed calls from legitimate callers that were incorrectly blocked.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Submit false spam reports.
- Attempt to access our servers or databases without authorization.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app and canceling your subscription.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
